• For the safety and happiness of all our guests, female dogs over 6 months must be spayed before coming to Barkgata—no exceptions.

• Male dogs don’t need to be neutered, but if a pup shows dominant behavior in group play (daycare), we’ll ask for them to be neutered before returning to ensure a safe, friendly environment for everyone. If that happens, we’ll happily re-evaluate them after the procedure! 🐶💙behavior in group play (daycare), they will be required to be neutered before returning. A re-evaluation will be conducted upon their return.

We provide Hill’s Science Diet Dry Food (Lamb & Brown Rice) for all overnight stays, but if your pup has special dietary needs, you’re welcome to bring their own food! 🍽️

To help with storage and organization, please:

• Only bring the amount needed for their stay (extra food won’t be returned).

• Pre-portion all meals into disposable containers.

• If food isn’t packaged properly, we won’t be able to accept it at check-in.

• We want your pup to feel at home! 🏡 You’re welcome to bring one blanket and one toy for their suite.

• Don’t worry if you forget—we provide comfy beds and blankets! However, we can’t guarantee personal items won’t be lost or damaged, so only bring what you’re okay with leaving behind. 🐕

• Since our daycare is all about fun, play, and socialization, we don’t serve meals during daycare hours to prevent any food-related tension.

• Make sure to feed your pup before drop-off so they have plenty of energy for their playdate! 🐶🎾

Yes! We love keeping furry siblings together. As long as they fit comfortably in a suite, they can stay together and you’ll receive 20% off for each additional dog. 🏡🐶🐶

Just remember, all pups must be from the same household to qualify for the discount.

We adore our senior guests! 🦴💛 If your pup is 10 years or older, we require an in-person evaluation before booking to ensure they’ll be comfortable and well taken care of during their stay.
